Not only has Josiah been in bed with a throat infection since Saturday, Tildy badly twisted her ankle this morning and has been couch ridden all day. Being my right hand girl with the little children, I have sorely missed her today.
Fortunately, Billy fell asleep early in the evening, and Emily and Jess were happy to read in bed a little before their normal bedtime.
So, will tonight be the night? That is the question on the children's lips, and circling my mind without rest. I have certainly done enough nesting today to provoke labour; even now I can smell the bread ready to come out of the oven.
